How does the instantaneous water heater work?When you turn on a hot water tap in your home, cold water travels through a pipe into a heat exchanger in the unit. The cold water is heated in the heat exchanger via district heating water or another waterborne heat source. As a result the water heaters deliver a constant supply of instant hot water. And the biggest advance of a water heater with heat exchanger is: It never goes empty!Storage Charging SystemsThe storage charging systems are a suitable solution for apartment blocks, hospitals, sports arenas, hotels and similar large buildings because they combine the demand for high performance, comfort, hygiene and resource efficient operation. The systems can be combined with a second or multiple DHW storage tanks for optimum tailoring to on-site conditions, available with ready-to-mount piping.How does the storage water heater work?A storage water heater operates by releasing hot water from the top of the tank when the hot water tap is turned on. To replace that hot water, cold water enters the bottom of the tank, ensuring that the tank is always full.Our storage charging systems furthermore have these two functions:Storage Charging System - Due to the high efficiency heating surface of the plate heat exchanger the ThermoDual® systems obtain low return temperatures in the total operating sequence of a storage recharge, thereby resulting in reduced required volume flow rate. This means economical operation and makes the systems highly suited for application in district heating networks as well as in connection with condensing boilers.Anti-legionella System - The Danfoss domestic hot water system ThermoClean® provides an effective solution for Legionella-free domestic hot water production. ThermoClean® systems operate according to the principles of thermal disinfection, ensuring that the reaction temperature in the system is maintained at a constant temperature of 70° C. Thereby effective protection against Legionella bacteria in the domestic hot water system is obtained.
